Chand Returns State-Owned Vehicle
Kathmandu Aug 2: Lokendra bahadur Chand, Former Prime Minister, returned the vehicle as facility provided to him by government on Thursday.
Chand returned state-owned vehicle issuing a press statement today after people protested against the government for the practice of giving vehicles, residence, and other facilities to the former prime ministers and other dignitaries for lifetime.
Chand has also said that he has not taken any other government facilities including residence, secretariat, among others.
Earlier, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal, UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala, Ram Chandra Poudel, former CA Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang, among others, have already returned state-owned vehicle.
