National Consensus in A Day or Two-Sitoula
Kathmandu, July 9: General Secretary of Nepali Congress, Krishna Prasad Sitoula has claimed that an all-side, all party national government would be formed in a day or two following a new national consensus, and that the government would be led by the NC.
Speaking at a face-to-face organized by Reporters' Club in the capital on Monday, he said, Mr Sitoula said a new government of national consensus was inevitable to remove the present difficulties in holding the next elections.
He was also of the opinion that a caretaker government cannot present a full-fledged budget. However, it could table one-third of the total budget, based on a political consensus, he added.
Responding to a query from journalists on the occasion, the NC General Secretary said the nation had to bear a huge loss, as the UCPN (Maoist) could not become honest.
